Our Coloring Process
Consultation
We start with a deep dive into your vision, discussing themes, moods, and styles to ensure our color-enhanced reading order on every page panel is a must-have embellishment to your story. Please send a Dropbox or Google Drive link to a folder holding the files/pages you wish colored (and not as email attachments!).
Digital Rendering
Using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint, we apply flat colors at high speed followed by as many layers as it takes both above and below the line art you provide. In this phase you can expect, shading, highlights, and effects for depth and realism – and all catered to your target audience (children, for instance, like bright, much more vibrant, eye-candy!).
Revisions and Delivery
Unlimited revisions until you're thrilled. Expect an adjustment period of 2-3 pages with perhaps more revisions required while we adjust to your style preferences. The final high-resolution formats ready for print or digital distribution will be promptly delivered to you via Dropbox or Google Drive (whichever you used) alongside process screenshots if asked for. These last can make for social media content.
