Dark graphite phoenix with spread wings in heavy shadow, from the BURN series
One-of-a-kind!
“His final touches are nothing short of Fabergé eggs unleashed: ornate, precious… and ready to hatch into flame.”
About the BURN series

Raw pencil power

Known for storytelling through comic coloring, Alexander Lidström now ventures into the hyper-detailed world of graphite. In BURN he explores endless variations on the phoenix: rebirth, raw pencil power and pure funk.

It's a chance to discover (or rediscover) graphite on paper, the underdog of fine art. Each piece takes days, if not weeks.
